Accessing tight spaces for excavation work has long been a challenge for homeowners and contractors alike. Traditional diggers and excavators are often too large to manoeuvre through narrow gateways, around established landscaping, or into confined backyard spaces. This limitation can lead to several issues for homeowners:
1. Increased costs: Without access for machinery, work may need to be done manually, significantly increasing labour time and costs.
2. Property damage: Attempting to force large machinery into tight spaces can result in damage to fences, gardens, or structures.
3. Job delays: The inability to use efficient machinery can extend project timelines considerably.
Our recent project in the Coffs Harbour area demonstrates how we've addressed these challenges. We used our specialised tight access excavating machinery to install footings for a deck, showcasing a solution that many homeowners find invaluable.

Our digger features retractable tracks that can narrow to a mere 700 mm in width, enabling access through most standard gateways and even garage doors. This capability allows us to bring efficient, mechanised excavation to spaces that would otherwise require manual labour or remain inaccessible to traditional machinery.
As demonstrated in the accompanying photos, our versatile machinery extends beyond installing sewer and stormwater lines. We offer a range of services, including:
1. Cutting and removing concrete slabs.
2. Boring holes for fence posts.
3. Excavating for various types of footings.
To complement our excavation capabilities, we also provide a tipper trailer for efficient soil removal when necessary.
This project exemplifies our ability to tackle challenging access situations while delivering high-quality results, offering homeowners solutions to problems they may have thought insurmountable.
